

Dr. Kayva Crawford is a fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon and founder of Torrey Pines Plastic Surgery. Her keen eye for detail, focus on facial surgery, and advanced knowledge of head and neck anatomy ensure that each of her patients receives expert care.
Dr. Crawford graduated as valedictorian of her medical school class at Tufts University School of Medicine. She then earned a spot at the top-ranked University of California San Diego residency program in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, where she spent six years honing her surgical skills and developing her understanding of head and neck anatomy.

After residency, Dr. Crawford chose to pursue a highly competitive, specialized fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health & Sciences University, one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious fellowships under the mentorship of the past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Here, she refined her skills in rhinoplasty, facelift, neck lift, eyelid surgery, facial reconstruction after skin cancer, and facial reanimation surgery for patients with Bell’s palsy and other facial nerve disorders.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Crawford has contributed to the field of academic Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgery as a speaker at national meetings and author of nearly 30 peer-reviewed publications. She also worked as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at OHSU, where she was awarded the Fellow Teacher of the Year award by the residents for her commitment to surgical education. Outside the operating room, Dr. Crawford is a wife, mother of two, an accomplished classical pianist, and an involved member of her community.
